More dresses to bless girls and some shorts for the boys

 Thanks to our wonderful volunteers in Colorado, we are sending 118 dresses and undies with Jean who is a volunteer missionary with Child at Heart. They are going to Guatemala next month and will dress girls with your dresses. We're also sending 12 pair of pjs, 20 pair of boys' shorts, 3 girls' shortsets, 6 baby blankets, 20 knitted caps and a few baby clothes. They are thrilled.

Walk4Water postponed

Well, sometimes (actually quite often) God has other plans. We were running into obstacles with the Walk date of Nov. 6 so we decided to postpone it until Spring. As soon as we have a new date, I'll post it.

On the road again

Well it's lots closer to home but I'm heading to St. Louis tomorrow through Sunday for the Joyce Meyer women's conference and to visit long time friends from high school. But I get to fly, worship with thousands of amazing women and enjoy time with Wayne and Martha. Since I don't have a St. Louis pic, here's So. Cal friends Karen, me and Kelley at the equator.

African Tea Party

We gathered to experience a little taste of Africa. The tea parties I've done in the bush, on Sigulu Island, in schools and churches with Hope4Women. In order to know the importance of serving and being served in Jesus' name, I created a village in my basement. It was fun!

We had visitors to our tea party from several tribes: Loveland, Longmont, Ft. Collins- even Colorado Springs. They brought dresses, hats and pajamas for us to clothes children and dress girls around the world. Thanks for coming!!
